Western Dressage Classes at 2012 Color Breed Congress

All-Breed Western Dressage classes will be on the show schedule when the Color Breed Congress convenes Nov. 6-11, 2012 in Tulsa, Okla. Western Dressage entry forms, stall reservations forms a list of lodging options are available online at www.colorbreedcongress.com. Classes will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012

Presented by the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. and staged at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square, the Color Breed Congress encompasses four separate breed shows in one. Participating breeds include the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, Appaloosa Horse Club and Ponies of the Americas Club.

“The Color Breed Congress has something for everyone in the colored horse industry, we hope you are able to join us in Tulsa,” Bilke said.

With an award budget of more than $150,000, awards will be abundant during the show. They include; jackets from Tioga Territory for class champions (with three or more entries), medallions for 1st-6th place in each class, Gist Silversmith custom belt buckles and Kensington Protective Products for high points. Additional glass trophies will be handed out for halter grand and reserve champions.

Other competitions during the show include Cash Challenge classes. These classes provide an opportunity to compete for your part of an estimated $12,000 in prize money. In addition to the four breeds represented at the show, horses from the following breeds or divisions can compete; Solid Palomino-Bred, Solid Paint-Bred, Buckskins and breeding stock Pintos.

Check out the CBC Market Place, held in conjunction with the show. More than 30 vendors from across the country will be open for business. This is a great opportunity to complete that Christmas shopping while partaking in the horse show.

Incorporated in 1956, the Pinto Horse Association of America was formed to encourage the promotion of quality horses, ponies and miniatures with color and to establish a registry for maintaining their show records and pedigrees.
