USEF Youth Sportsmanship Grant awarded to Ohio University Southern Western Dressage Events

usef-youth-sportsmanship-grantParker, Colorado – The Executive Committee of WDAA voted to award the USEF Youth Sportsmanship Grant to support a Western Dressage invitational clinic and show offered by Ohio University Southern. his event is scheduled for November 12, 2016 and will reach out to high school and college students as well as 4-H participants.
The invitational currently has eight teams from five universities and a 9th that will comprise a 4-H club. Ohio Southern University is advertising this special event very widely to attract additional youth and other spectators to watch and learn about the amazing new discipline of Western Dressage.

The continuing support of the outstanding equine program at Ohio University Southern, the participation of their equestrian team at the World Championship show, and the outreach to other youth programs makes this group a special partner in the educational mission of WDAA. Thank you to the United States Equestrian Federation for its grants supporting WDAA’s educational mission. The Western Dressage Association of America is the USEF Recognized Affiliate for the discipline of Western Dressage.
