WDAA Announces New Volunteer Committee Structure

The Western Dressage Association® of America (WDAA) announced its revised volunteer committee structure for 2015. As a 501(c)3 educationally based nonprofit, WDAA relies on a large and dedicated group of volunteers to develop and implement programs such as continuing education. Additionally, a volunteer’s committee participation assists the WDAA Board of Directors in identifying potential new leaders for deployment as chairmen of future committees and task forces. The revised committee structure will lend additional insight to the value the WDAA places on volunteer efforts as well as increase awareness about the workings of the organization on behalf of the horses and riders participating in this growing discipline.

The WDAA recognizes and appreciates commitments from member volunteers with all sorts of previous equine industry experience and professional backgrounds. Volunteers must be WDAA members in good standing. Time and activity commitments vary across the different committees, so all inquirers are asked to complete a brief questionnaire to assist with matching their talents and availability to areas of need.

While committee chairs are in place, the Western Dressage Association® of America welcomes inquiries and assistance at all levels. To offer your support in a local, national or international capacity, please contact info@westerndressageassociation.org
