US Western Horse Community Has New Organization and Discipline

Parker, CO September 7, 2010 — The Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA) has been established as a Colorado non-profit organization by passionate members of the US western horse community to combine the culture of the American western horse and the discipline of classical dressage.

“Western Dressage, as the name implies, is a combination of the best of both equine worlds: the traditional western horsemanship and classical dressage”, says Ellen DiBella, President of the new Association’s Board of Directors. “Each discipline of horsemanship is time honored. When you combine the philosophy and practice of each, you have a better western horse and rider.”

Other WDAA founders include Bonnie Glasgow, Barbara Molland and Neide Cooley. The founding Board of Directors and supporting Advisory Board are made up of members of all major organizations and breeds within the US horse community.

The WDAA will be accepting memberships, establish its website, offer information, clinics, educational demonstrations and products in September, 2010.

The website address will be:
