Julie Goodnight Starts Her 2014 Clinic Tour

February 19, 2014: Clinician and TV Host Julie Goodnight starts traveling for her 2014 Clinic Tour Schedule NOW—and she is excited to work with new horses and riders around the country. Goodnight’s philosophy is “help the horses by helping the humans—one horse and rider team at a time.” Goodnight is known for meeting her clinic students where they are and helping them with what they’d most like to work on. There’s no magic formula, it’s all about finding out what you and your horse need most.

Want to ride with Goodnight? This is your chance to sign up to ride in a clinic (many are already full, limited space remains) or to come and watch without your horse so that you can ask questions, take notes and practice at home. Learn what will help you progress with your horse during these “up-close and personal” events. Sign up to ride or get tickets to watch now, plus watch Goodnight’s free video explaining what it’s like at her clinics. http://juliegoodnight.com/clinics

This season, Goodnight travels to Tennessee, Kansas, Ohio (two clinics: one near Akron, one in Lancaster), California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado (multiple appearances with a clinic in Pueblo and special retreat weekends at the C lazy U Guest Ranch), Georgia, and Wisconsin.

Goodnight’s clinics offer a time to learn in a positive, fun, intimate environment. This is your time to ask Goodnight about your horse; it’s your time to ride with her so that you know exactly what she’d do next to help you reach your goals. Each of her clinic tour stops provides an opportunity for horse owners to ride with her. Audiences are also invited to watch and learn in a friendly environment.

Clinics are fun and active, with a focus on bridging natural horsemanship techniques with the principles of classical riding. Expect to work together in the arena all day, doing both ground work and mounted work, with a focus on refining riding skills and developing a better relationship with your horse. All ability levels are welcome; each rider works at his/her own pace. Each clinic incorporates ground work and riding time. Indoor riding arenas are available at every clinic location—clinics are held rain or shine!

Clinic participants are eager to ride with Julie each year—and riding spots fill quickly! “I attended a clinic with my mare, and it was the highlight of my summer!” says past clinic attendee, Kate Westfall. “I felt so connected with my horse during the clinic and have continued a wonderful relationship. Julie shared a lot of knowledge and taught in a patient but no-nonsense way. The exercises were simple, safe, effective and easy to reproduce once I got home. This was a gem of a clinic and worth every penny!”
