The idea of getting everyone on the same page from the start will make Western Dressage more creditable. It is important to keep this in mind as there are many western disciplines that have their own ideology on movement as well as English dressage riders that might want to cross over. Each will bring their own methodology to the sport. More communication in this area is needed. There were still questions on cadence and tempo.

Work on scoring a test which we needed to do more of helped in clarifying the structure of each gait, transition and rider effectiveness.

Studying the equitation in relation to the response of the horse assisted in understanding the quality of the gaits desired. Presenting different breeds executing a demo of a test with the explanation of expectations was the most noteworthy.
