Lynn Palm Headlined at Equitana Melbourne as Western Dressage Specialist

PPT Est 1970Early 2014 Lynn Palm was invited to share her knowledge and experiences of western horses in dressage at Equitana in Melbourne, Australia for 4 days in November. Upon acceptance of her participation, Palm was designated as the Western Dressage Specialist being featured in a two hour session during opening night where she worked with horses and riders who demonstrated a series of topics from rider’s form and aids communication to the proper level of training and balance for each level in western dressage competition.

In addition to her Specialist Clinic, Palm performed a western dressage musical freestyle during the Australian Open Reining Championship, officiated as a judge for The Way of the Horse and served on a panel of experts during a Question and Answer session accompanied by international presenters, Dressage’s Judy Harvey, Eventing’s Dirk Schrade and British dressage sensation Charlotte Dujardin.

Along with the educational events, Palm and husband, Cyril Pittion-Rossillon, had the opportunity to meet attendees at their trade show booth. This allowed them to introduce their videos on Digital Download and make plans to organize a 2015 tour of Australia filled with clinics and judging. It was there that the pair met the officials of the Western Dressage Association of Australia, a new Gold Alliance of WDAA, who were so hospitable to the visiting duo.

For four days, Lynn Palm reveled in the enthusiasm of the attendees at Equitana in Melbourne. “It was an educational event like no other that I have ever participated in!” said Palm. “It was the most professionally produced event with top notch presenters and crowds of horse lovers of all ages!”

It is with great pleasure and pride that Lynn Palm shares her knowledge and experience with many different levels of riders over various topics and horse events throughout the country and abroad.
