Connecticut becomes Official State Affiliate of WDAA

As of January 2012, Connecticut became an official affiliate of WDAA

CT has a long history being one of the original 13 colonies to incorporate America. We were established in1635.  We have Nathen Hale, Benedict Arnold, Jonathan Trumbul, and countless others that have made this state what it is today.

Bringing Western Dressage Association to CT was not an easy task but one I felt would benefit our Western riders and potential riders with more events, clinics, and hopefully rated shows. I wanted to have the best of both worlds in Western and with Classical Dressage. You can be a beginner or professional, 8 yrs old to 80 yrs old (or older), it doesn’t matter. What breed horse do you have? That doesn’t matter either. All are welcome.

I want to extend a warm welcome to all the New England states that want join. We will be setting up clinics hopefully in the areas near you. I am thrilled to bring this wonderful association to this area.
