Appaloosa Horse Club forms Alliance Partnership with WDAA

The Western Dressage Association® of America (WDAA) is proud to announce another Alliance Partnership with the Appaloosa Horse Club.  These two organizations have come together to showcase how Western Dressage training, techniques and tests can benefit riders and their versatile and athletic Appaloosa horses.

ApHC-CommerativePosterThe Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is celebrating its 75 year as the international breed registry.  The ApHC is responsible for recording and preserving the breed’s heritage which has long and recognizable ties to the America West.  The strength, character and versatility of the Appaloosa Horses are matched only by their incredible coat patterns.  The ApHC works to provide services for the benefits of its members; to foster growth and membership in the ApHC through promotion, recognition, advertisement and publicity of the Appaloosa Horse; and to charter a regional, national and international network of clubs or associations which it can support in the promotion of the unique and wonderful attributes of the Appaloosa breed.

In celebration of its 75th Anniversary, the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) unveiled today the newest addition to its poster collection, “Celebrating 75 Years of Colorful History.”

Artist Shirley A. Savage inherited her love of art from her mother, Maria Cecilia Munson, who was born in Moscow, Idaho. Shirley has a Masters Degree in Art and English with a BS in Art Education. She divides her time between her home in Casey, Illinois and South Padre Island, Texas where she teaches art classes in both locations.
