3000 Miles each way was definitely worth it

Written by Trish Hyatt who attended the WDANC – February 2014

When I registered for the North Carolina course I wasn’t aware any were going to be offered in Canada. I came from Ladysmith on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. I strongly felt that I needed to attend this course right away as Western Dressage is starting to take off in our area and I wanted to be in on the ground floor. The WSDAC is in alliance with the WDAA and knowing we are all working towards international consistency and credibility made it worth the travel costs.

Francis and Cliff did a great job of presenting a lot of information in the short time we had. Having grown up being a western rider and spending the last two years doing classical dressage with my QH I was pretty sure I knew how a western dressage horse should move but came home a lot more confident in the best way for me to present it and my ability to answer questions. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in Western Dressage and look forward to more courses in the future.
